The first two series of the 1980s children's television show co-written and narrated by Tony Robinson. The show followed the adventures of Fat Tulip and his friends and rivals, including Fred the Baddy, Dorian the Dog and a tortoise called Lewis Collins. Each story was read aloud by Robinson outside an English country house, with the aim of provoking the imagination of its young viewers and providing a different experience to the bulk of children's TV at the time.
