Life for Ruth

Drama directed by Basil Dearden. When John Harris (Michael Craig)'s daughter is injured in a boating accident, only a blood transfusion will save her. As this goes against his religious beliefs, he refuses to consent, which leads to her death. Doctor Brown (Patrick McGoohan) takes him to court, seeking justice for what he considers a girl's needless death. Janet Munro also stars.
