Robson Green and Hermione Norris ('Cold Feet') star in this 3 part television drama adapted from 2 best selling novels by Val McDermid. In 'The Mermaids Singing', considered quirky and eccentric, Tony Hill (Green) is asked by Carol Jordan (Norris) to help her track down the serial killer of young men in and around Bradford. In 'Shadows Rising' another multiple killer is stalking teenage girls. Whilst in 'Justice Painted Blind' an 11-year-old girl is abducted and a young woman is strangled. Hill and Jordan investigate all of these crimes.
