In their local diner the friends listened to the country laments of Hank Williams, Lefty Frizzell and Pee Wee King. Rock 'n' Roll soon revolutionized the aural landscape in 1956, and by the following year a typical diner's repertoire would have sounded much like the contents of this explosive 2CD set.
