Das Album ""Dance Hall Stories"" hat Simon Nabatov zusammen mit seinen langjährigen Kollegen Frank Gratkowski (Saxophon) und Dominik Mahnig (Drums) im Loft Köln aufgenommen. Die eine Hälfte spielt im Duo Gratkowski / Nabatov, in der anderen kommt Dominik Mahnig noch am Schlagzeug hinzu. Die Stücke drehen sich um einen virtuellen Tanzsaal in der sich dir drei durch verschiedene Szenen bewegen und versuchen die besondere Atmosphäre einzufangen.
