Invisible Waves

A moody, violent thriller that follows the desperate Kyoji (Tadanobu Asano), an otherwise quiet and unassumiing chef, on the run after killing his lover Seiko (Tomono Kuga). Having undertaken the task purely as an attempt to redeem himself with his gangster boss whose wife it was, the crime weighs heavily on his mind. Sent to Thailand to escape the consequences of the crime, it's not long before he receives a visit from his boss's henchmen.
