En Attendant Le Deluge

French comedy drama. When a wealthy old man learns that he is suffering from an incurable disease, his last wish is to see a private production of his favourite play. Summoning a troupe to his country manor, he asks them to perform 'The Myth of Dionysus'. But what he hasn't bargained on is the petty neuroses and power struggles amongst the players, the internal politics that makes it look as if they will never finish rehearsals and perform the play. Finally, the elderly man decides to take the main part for himself and enact his own death on stage.
