Japanese anime feature based on events one year after the 2012 series of the same name. Following his multiple journeys through time, scientist Rintarou Okabe (voice of Mamoru Miyano) begins to experience major fluctuations between the past and future. As his friend and fellow scientist Kurisu Makise (Asami Imai) opens up about her own memory flashes Rintarou suddenly disappears. Furthermore, no-one recalls that he ever existed at all except for Kurisu. Despite being aware of the potential pitfalls Kurisu does all she can to track Rintarou and follow him through whatever past, present or future he may find himself in.
