Boomtown records has announced the release of "2004-2009" - a 21 track cd that will span each non-album release across the five year career of the getaway plan. The cd includes the "hold conversation" ep, the rare 2004 demo, and the "shadows", "where the city meets the sea" and "streetlight" singles complete with exclusive b-sides. Also includes the three hit singles from their debut album "other voices, other rooms". The disc is released just weeks before the band embark on their final tour of australia, including sold out dates in sydney, melbourne, adelaide and brisbane. It also comes out after the band's most successful year to date - in which they received widespread national radio & television play, a #14 aria chart album debut, a feature album on triple j, an air award for best single, a hottest 100 triple j hit and a spot on the big day out tour in january 2009.
