Brandy and Beer

A recreation of the fantastic sounds of two of the great jazz giants - Al Cohn and Zoot Sims - a hard and highly swinging album featuring wonderful playing and arrangements. Karen Sharp's fourth album for 33 Jazz sees her team up with fellow saxophonist Robert Fowler, playing tunes by the great Al Cohn and Zoot Sims. Karen and Robert have been gigging this project for a while now at festivals and clubs across the UK and this record is a result of the many requests for an album. As well as Rob and Karen on tenor saxophone and clarinet, it also features Robin Aspland on piano, Jeremy Brown on bass and Matt Home on drums.
