Ian Ritchie's Soho Project

For the last 30 years Ian Ritchie has been active on the
international music scene as a saxophonist, composer and record producer.
He has played on hit records by The Beach Boys, Wham, Roger Waters and
Aswad and has produced million selling albums by Laurie Anderson, Roger
Waters, Hugh
Cornwell and the Big Dish. He has composed songs for John Hughes movies and
themes and incidental music for numerous TV documentaries as well as
literally thousands of adverts.

The SOHO Project brings together his composing, playing and arranging
abilities in a fresh sounding musical package that appeals to listeners of
every of very differing musical tastes. The intriguing harmonic concept
will draw in die-hard jazz fans whereas the world rhythms and haunting
melodies will appeal to a much wider pool of listeners.

The group itself is made up of an eclectic mix of multi talented players.
Tom Fox plays with the legendary Neil Innes and his own pop/jazz crossover
band Big Strides. Vladimiro Carboni is a busy drummer featured in a range
of bands busy on the European jazz festival circuit. Alex Hutton is the
pianist of choice for a wide range of UK jazz players.
