Summer With Monika

Roger McGough publiceerde in 1967 zijn gedichtenbundel Summer with Monika, genoemd naar de klassieke film van Ingmar Bergman. Het was een ontroerende suite over een romantische liefde, die in 1978 samen met gitarist Andy Roberts op muziek werd gezet. Roberts bracht een aantal Britse rockmuzikanten bijeen, waaronder Zoot Money, Pat Donaldson, Timi Donald en John Megginson. De arrangementen waren van Robert Kirby en het geheel werd oorspronkelijk uitgebracht op het Island-label.
