Een verrassende cd, oorspronkelijk afkomstig van een klein Oezbeeks label. De blinde zanger Ochilbek Matchonov heeft een opvallend heldere stem en in zijn muziek zijn elementen uit de Mongoolse zang te horen, maar ook Soefi (geen qawwali)-invloeden. Hij wordt bijgestaan door een vijftal muzikanten op traditionele instrumenten als de zurna en diverse snaarinstrumenten (dotar, ghijak, tanbur).
