Bringing a unique sound of Scotland back from the past and into the 21st century, launching their audience into the tribal, turbulent era of times long gone. The sound the band has evolved and developed has been referred to as "tribal" and "Celtic rock". Saor Patrol has been referred to as the "Motörhead of Folk". The events at which Saor Patrol have performed at have grown considerably in profile, such as The Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Taiwan Festival of World Culture, The Scottish Drum Day, Dollywood USA, Ely Folk Festival, the Rock and Blues Custom Show, and Dublin's Gaiety Theatre, T in the Park, Lo Spirito Del Planeta to name but a few.
