Eric Bogle, de Schotse singer-songwriter die al heel lang in AustraliÙ woont, heeft zijn fans erg lang laten wachten op een nieuwe cd. Zijn laatste album "Voices" (CDTRAX 391), met John Munro, stamt alweer uit 2016. Ondanks zijn leeftijd (hij is 77) levert Bogle nog steeds kwaliteitsplaten af. Een groot deel van de songs op `The Source of Light' zijn van zijn hand. Met Emma Luker (viool, cello, altviool) en Peter Titchener (gitaar) van de Bogle Band, plus enkele gasten.
