Dick Gaughan is al jaren een vooraanstaand figuur in de Britse folkscene met een indrukwekkend aantal platen op zijn naam. Zijn nieuwste plaat is meer popgericht en royaler ge´nstrumenteerd dan zijn vorige. Daarnaast heeft hij veel eigen werk op deze cd gezet. Het is een sterke plaat, waarbij de toon al gezet wordt door het donkere, bijtende openingsnummer 'Whatever happened': "Maybe you just forgot that you ever used to give a damn."
