Zanger Robin Laing stelde ooit een cd samen met liedjes over whisky (CDTRAX 137, The Angels' Share) en vervolgens een boek over hetzelfde onderwerp. Toen bleken er nog voldoende interessante songs over, om alsnog een tweede album samen te stellen. Subtiele ballads, dus geen platte meezingers, en uitstekende gastmuzikanten maken deze cd ook aantrekkelijk voor geheelonthouders.
