Three generations of women struggle through fifty turbulent years in this saga of love, death and drama, based on Barbara Taylor Bradford's semi-autobiographical novel. Audra lives an impoverished existence after her mother dies, but is determined that her daughter Christina will have all the opportunities denied her. Christina's talent as an artist brings her due reward, but her daughter Kyle becomes jealous of her success.
