Suspense thriller with a supernatural dimension starring Kevin Costner, Kathy Bates and Ron Rifkin. When Dr Joe Darrow's (Costner) beautiful and beloved pediatrician wife dies tragically on a mission of mercy in the jungles of South America, Joe buries himself in his work at the hospital. But soon mysterious events - moving objects, communications from her former patients who survive near-death experiences, and odd voices - make him believe that his wife is trying to contact him from beyond the grave.
