Phenomenon

George Malley (John Travolta) is an easy-going mechanic who is in love with Lace Pennamin (Kyra Sedgwick), a new arrival in town who wants nothing to do with relationships. On George's 37th birthday, he sees a strange light and is knocked unconscious. When he awakes, he finds that he has enhanced mental abilities and telekenetic powers. His new abilities begin to alienate him from his friends, but aid his courtship of Lace.
