Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan star in this comedy directed by Mark S. Waters. Teenager Anna Coleman (Lohan) and her mother Tess (Curtis) have a difficult relationship. Tess is engaged to Ryan Volvo (Mark Harmon) but Anna is struggling to come to terms with their upcoming wedding and the death of her father three years ago. When the magic in two fortune cookies causes the mother and daughter to switch bodies, they are forced to navigate each other's lives. This grants them a better understanding of the problems they each face but with Tess and Ryan's wedding imminent, will they find a way to switch back in time?
