Dick Charlesworth leidde een zeer succesvolle jazzband in de jaren vijftig en begin jaren zestig, toen oude-stijl populair was. Op deze cd staan de eerste opnames die de band ooit maakte in 1957 en eindigt met opnames voor het label 77 Records uit 1959, vlak voordat ze bij HMV tekenden.
