Patti Reid

This is a reissue of an LP from 1987. It is mostly unaccompanied singing, but Patti is joined by Gordon Tyrell on guitar and flute on some tracks. At the time of its release Patti made the front cover of English Dance & Song magazine. The then editor, Dave Arthur observed, "This is a really impressive album. There are some beautiful traditional tunes and lyrics that have a relevance beyond their time and when they are performed by an artiste as accomplished as Patti Reid you remember just what it was that first attracted you to folk music."
