Liar, Flower is the reincarnation of Ruby Throat, consisting of artists KatieJane Garside (Daisy Chainsaw, QueenAdreena, Lalleshwari) and Chris Whittingham. As Ruby Throat, the duo released four albums and an EP between 2007 and 2017, as well as their 2018 compilations 'Stone Dress', and 'Liar, Flower'. Stylistically varied, the duo's 2020 album 'Geiger Counter' ranges from raw, bewildering, venomous rock to gentle folk musings. The first single, 'My Brain Is Lit Like an Airport', is a disquieting, hypnotic rock concoction that alludes to the necessary and inevitable dissolution of ego and the desperate clinging to it in its death throes.
