What About Luv?

This 1984 new musical won the Outer Critic Circle's Award for Best Original Score. 'What About Luv?' proved to be a much feted but unfortunately overlooked musical, eventually finding wider success when revived in London, at The Orange Tree Theatre in 1986. Since then it has gone on to have wider international success. Based on the play/film Luv by Murray Schisgal, which tells the story of a chance meeting that leads two unhappily married people to swap partners, only to find themselves reunited years later, by the disastrous effects of that decision, is a darkly comic take on the idea that the grass is always greener. For this recording TER re-united the Broadway cast including Judy Kaye, star of a number of Award Winning TER recordings including The Pajama Game and Annie Get Your Gun.
