Reggaenomics

Monyaka (Swahili for 'good luck') are a six-piece, Jamaica-born reggae act, based in Brooklyn, NY, originally founded in 1974. 'Reggaenomics' is their 1982 album, which features the UK hit 'Go Deh Yaka' (patois for 'Go to the Top'), which cleverly fused reggae and contemporary R&B, and the single 'Stand Up Strong'.
