Laura Lee signed to Hot Wax Records in 1971, after five R&B hits on Chess. This album is her first recording for the ex Motown producers' (Holland-Dozier-Holland) newly created label. The album features the singles 'Wedlock Is Padlock' and 'Women's Love Rights', as well as soul ballad 'Her Picture Matches Mine' and the dancefloor filler 'I Don't Want Nothing Old (But Money)'.
