A shadowy terrorist group might just hold the key. In the sci-fi action drama 'The Core' (2002), an unlikely group of soldiers and scientists unite to save the world from destruction. After investigating strange phenomena from around the world, Dr. John Keyes (Aaron Eckhart) finds that the Earth's electromagnetic forces have started to collapse due to a lack of movement in the molten ore at the Earth's center. Keyes must recruit a team for a mission to save the world.
