Big screen adaptation of the TV cartoon series. A shaman has given 12-year-old Eliza Thornberry (voice of Lacey Chabert) the ability to communicate with animals, and her talents are about to be put to very special use now that her adventuresome parents have decided to take the whole family on a safari in Africa. However, the excitement takes a dangerous turn when some cruel poachers come on the scene and Eliza and her chimp friend Darwin (Tom Kane) resolve to stop them.
