Sci-fi thriller in which an incurable virus sweeps across the globe, killing anyone who becomes infected and bringing civilisation to its knees. Four young friends - Danny (Lou Taylor Pucci), Brian (Chris Pine), Bobby (Piper Perabo) and Kate (Emily VanCamp), make an attempt to flee for their lives, driving out across the desert and heading for the coast.
