William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy and DeForest Kelley return to star in this sci-fi adventure based on the 1960s TV series. In the 23rd century, the crew of the USS Enterprise come out of retirement when Earth is threatened by a massive energy field. Captain James T. Kirk (Shatner), now a Starfleet Admiral, Spock (Nimoy), Bones (Kelley) and the rest of the starship's crew assemble to investigate the dangerous energy cloud, but can they find a way to stop it from destroying the planet?
