Hornblower's marriage to his landlady's daughter will surely be a festive occasion and a time for celebration as we rejoin Horatio and his adventures from Hornblower: Loyalty. It is not long before Hornblower returns to the stormy seas on a mission to rescue a boat in distress and a young lady swept overboard. But soon suspicions are arising as Hornblower starts to question if they have a Frenchman in their midst. Are they being led into a death trap and are their enemies drawing in? It is Hornblower's task to steer clear of danger by unearthing his suspicions. However his tense and uneasy journey is to have an unexpected conclusion.
