Tom Canty is poor and dreams of being a prince. Edward, the Prince of England dreams of being a normal boy and playing with the children outside his royal home. The two boys meet through exceptional circumstances and decide to swap places for a day - making each other's wishes come true. Everyone is fooled, only the royal falcon, Edgar, knows what is going on. And it is up to Edgar to save the throne from an evil Lord - but he must overcome his fear of flying if he is to be the hero.
