The Rolling Stones' first greatest hits album released on Japanese pressing LP. Originally released in March 1966. The band's sixth album in the US, featuring 12 tracks representing the mid-1960s period. It became a long seller, remaining on the charts for over a year and a half, and reached No.3 in the US. The cover was created using artwork from the unfinished album project "COULD YOU WALK ON THE WATER?". A UK version of this greatest hits album was also released in November 1966, with different cover artwork and track listing from the US version. This is the US version. Japanese pressing LP cut at Abbey Road Studios. Includes an obi replicating the design of the first Japanese CD pressing. Comes with commentary and lyrics with Japanese translation. Original release date March 1966.
