1993年の第3回サイトウ・キネン・フェスティバル松本でのライヴ録音。交響曲第7番は小澤征爾にとって、サイトウ・キネン・オーケストラとの初めてのベートーヴェン録音となったもの。のちに1998年から2002年にかけてベートーヴェンの残りの交響曲を演奏・録音し、交響曲全集を完成させました。
