One of the most iconic Japanese SF animation film "AKIRA" showed in 1988 and immediately made a huge impact on the anime culture. Katsuhiro Otomo who is the originator of AKIRA created the imaginary world of violence and collapse in "Neo-Tokyo" where the young dudes and the psychic are surviving after the World War III. The soundtrack took the very important part to express the AKIRA's world and has been regarded as a beautiful piece of art. Now it is remixed by three Japanese artists, Makoto Kubota, Yasuharu Konishi, and Kuniaki Haishima who are well-known as innovative music creator for many years in different genres.
