A real highlight of Tamiya in the range of 1:48 aircraft models: The Lockheed Martin® F-35®A Lightning II®! The model is an updated form and comes from in-house development from TAMIYA. The aim was to realise the most detailed model of this aircraft in 1/48 scale. The F-35 is available in three versions: A for the Air Force, B for the Marines and C for the Navy. The development ran under the JSF programme (Joint Strike Fighter Programme) and the F-35 was to represent the fifth generation of fighter jets. The aircraft has an advanced camouflage cap design, a modern network and countless sensors that provide all data for the pilot and computer.
