PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Porsche Carrera RS 2.7 is a legend in the 911 series. It was developed in 1973 to participate in the European GT races. It has a 2,687 cc 6-cylinder engine with 210 HP and a lightweight body with improved aerodynamics. The RSR 2.8 racing version had a revised 2,808cc engine with over 300PS and won the European GT racing series in 1973. The model is delivered on the TAMIYA BT-01 chassis in the construction version short wheelbase, middle engine and rear wheel drive (MR). The TAMIYA BT-01 chassis is a beginner-friendly chassis which offers 6 different drive and chassis variations. So the wheelbase can be built in 257 mm and 251 mm. Furthermore, the chassis is based on the drive systems of real cars and can be built as a front engine or mid-engine with front-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive. The enclosed body is already pre-painted in PS-1 white and PS-31 smoke paint for the windows. Required accessories: remote control with receiver, steering servo, 7.2V NiMH battery pack, charger.
