Product Description Plastic model kit of a Soviet rocket from the 1950s with 214 pieces, length built 457 mm. Includes stand. The Vostok rocket was developed in the 1950s by Sergei Pavlovich Korolev. It was based on the military rocket R-7. The new rocket received a third stage, which allowed manned spaceships, satellites and the first interplanetary stations Luna to be brought into orbit. With this rocket, the manned spaceship "Vostok-1" with Yuri Alexeyevich Gagarin was brought into Earth orbit on 12 April 1961. He was the first person to fly into space.
