PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
An excellent example of an early Sd Kfz 222 in 15mm scale which can be built without glue. The Sd Kfz 222 was introduced in 1938 as the standard weapons vehicle for divisional reconnaissance units. The 222 remained in service until the end of the war seeing service in North Africa, Russia and North West Europe. The main armament was a 20mm KwK 30 or KwK38 - both fully automated with a 10 shot magazine - which could fire both armoured piercing and high explosive shells. A coaxial 7.92 MG34 was also fitted. The Sd Kfz 222 was manned by a crew of three.
