The Soviet 6x6 army truck ZiL-131 was developed in the 1960s at the Moscow Automobile Plant Lichachev and produced until 2002. Nearly one million trucks (998,429 units) were manufactured. The vehicle was unified with the ZiL-130, which simplified maintenance and repairs. The ZiL-131 combines good off-road, reliability, driver comfort and moderate fuel consumption in use. He was in service in the Soviet army and public service. The truck was actively used by various services, including the Ministry of Civil Protection.
