Concordia is a board game of a fairly limited duration (about an hour), set in the ancient Roman Empire, for precision in the period of the great trading routes on the Mediterranean. We will take the reins of a Roman aristocratic family and we will have to manage trade with various cities through a card-based game system.
The game board will be the focus of the game, where we will manage our commercial network, sending settlers to various cities, trying to produce goods and goods always different. Moreover, there will also be a common market where you can buy new cards stronger and more performing. In fact, Concordia, is has all the effects a deckbuilding, in which we will have to manage our hand of cards and our bunch. Each card played at each round will not only allow us to carry out special actions, but also have special multipliers at the end of the game during the count of win points.
Concordia, in conclusion, looks like a title really cared for and well done. With simple mechanics and easy to learn but with a strategic depth that allows you to create different games. A title really not to be missed.
Navegador is a complex game, for bold and thoughtful players. Against the backdrop of the era of exploration, in a fifteenth century dominated by colonial empires, players take on the guise of entrepreneurs ready for anything. Armed with a whole initial capital content of ships and workers, they will have to contract, form a commercial fleet, build and navigate, so as to exchange goods and favors. The most intrepid, they will also investigate the most unexplored areas of the earth, and found colonies with the promise of stratospheric returns!
At the end of the game, it will be declared a winner who can prove that they have gained more privileges and created the largest commercial network.
