The Yardbirds were one of the first successful rock bands from England. The band achieved several hit singles in the 1960s. Three of the most influential blues and rock guitarists – Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, and Jimmy Page – were members of the Yardbirds at the beginning of their careers. The CD "The Very Best Of" immerses us in those successful times. The disc contains live radio broadcasts from the 1960s, including the hits and classics "The Train Kept A-Rollin'," "The Sun Is Shining," and "Shapes of Things."
