Die chinesische Pianistin Ran Jia erlangte internationale Aufmerksamkeit durch ihre außergewöhnlichen Interpretationen des Klavierwerks von Franz Schubert. Für die Einspielung der Schubert-Sonaten D 960 und D 664 wurde sie im Dezember 2015 mit einem Choc de Classica ausgezeichnet. Auf ihrem ersten Album für PROSPERO widmet sie sich nun ausgewählten Klaviersonaten von Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
