Bei allen drei Werken des Albums handelt es sich um Bearbeitungen, wobei Qiling Chens eigene Transkription von Beethovens Frühlingssonate zweifellos das Herzstück der Aufnahme bildet. Da Flöte und Violine Instrumente sind, die sich in hohen Lagen besonders wohlfühlen und in etwa über den gleichen Tonumfang verfügen, verwundert es nicht, dass eine Übertragung ohne größere Abstriche gelingt.



All three works on the album are arrangements, with Qiling Chen's own transcription of Beethoven's Spring Sonata undoubtedly forming the heart of the recording. Since the flute and violin are instruments that are particularly comfortable in high registers and have roughly the same range, it is not surprising that a transcription succeeds without major sacrifices.
