Sechs Werke, sechs Komponisten, vier Premieren: Inspiration für diese Einspielung war vor allem die faszinierende Art und Weise, wie der Klang des Fagotts mit dem des Streichquartetts verschmelzen kann. Bei der Auswahl des Repertoires hat sich Rui Lopes ganz von seinem Gefühl leiten lassen - er hat schlichtweg Werke ausgewählt, die er zu spielen liebt und die ihm besonders am Herzen liegen.



Six works, six composers, four premieres: The inspiration for this recording was above all the fascinating way in which the sound of the bassoon can merge with that of the string quartet. In selecting the repertoire, Rui Lopes was guided entirely by his feelings - he simply chose works that he loves to play and that are particularly close to his heart.
