Guitarist Joel Ferber once again handled production, and a collection of their best work from this era began to organically coalesce into the band's sophomore album. The title, "Either Way The Sun's Exploding," reflects a forced sense of apathy that the members would embody as they delved deeper into more serious musical themes and topics. These included the loss of love, fear, humility, self-reflection and the ever-present pursuit of growth."True North masterfully blend elements of alt-rock, emo and pop-punk to create a sound that is both nostalgic and contemporary, filled with compelling melodies and emotionally resonant lyrics.
