Voila, that‘s „12 Stops to Simmering“. A classic rock band that really feels at home live on stage. Often called „EAV 2.0“ by many fans, they serve German lyrics throughout - and that‘s how it should stay. Loosely and whimsically, they describe the irony of everyday life, without wanting to come across as lecturing. It‘s just that you get together as a band once and start - the result is then as it is - and the five find it pretty great at the moment. (So there is no „sounds like.“ -criterion). The musical spectrum starts somewhere at „Classic Rock“, leads over the mainstream of the 80s, touches superficially the thoughtful arrangement of the progressive and the jazz and then lands somewhere in the German-speaking rock nirvana. And this is certainly not a devaluation of German-language music, but should describe its richness of facets.
