For this, she has recorded great minimalist covers of world hits, and in her original compositions, she resurrects the dog, cat, donkey, and rooster from the Bremen Town Musicians for a dystopian musical by Martin Heckmanns. She makes Novalis sound like Saint Etienne and Manfred Krug like Thomas Brasch. Better said: Like Masha Qrella! Because it is truly remarkable how she makes all these songs her own. Every song, whether Baroque or indie pop, whether performed in English or German, always sounds primarily like Masha Qrella. No matter if it is a cover or an original composition.
