Mit Héroïne veröffentlicht Mélinée ihr zweites, intimeres Album: beeinflusst von Rock und Pop und gefärbt von afrikanischer Musik. Man taucht in ein akustisches Universum ein, in raffinierte Arrangements mit Gitarren-, Kontrabass-, Violoncello-, Klavier- und natürlich der ihr so eigenen Akkordeonbegleitung. Etwas Besonderes ist das Balafon, virtuos gespielt von Aly Keita. Mélinée spricht wieder über die Liebe - immer mit Berlin als Hintergrund - aber auch über universelle Themen wie die Abwesenheit, das Warten und den Alkohol, ein kurzes Abschweifen zur Politik . oder dann ein humoristisches Porträt von ihrem Onkel.
